The keynote address would cover various aspects related to information security specially those with respect to Pakistan.

Mr. Ammar Jaffri is currently the Project Director of NR3C which is National Emergency Response Center For Cyber Crimes under the administrative control of Federal Investigation Agency i.e. FIA. Previously he has served many government departments for around 35 years including those of Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, Intelligence Bureau and the FIA. He holds a Masters degree in Statistics and Computer Science and has also completed many courses on information security. He is also an active member of many international organizations related to information security.

NR3C was established on the orders of Ministry of Interior only some time ago. This response center serves as the single point of contact for all government, private organizations and individuals to report cyber crimes committed against them. NR3C in its short span of life has achieved many laurels nabbing many individuals committing cyber fraud. Other main responsibilities of NR3C include monitoring global security issues and gathering of IT security intelligence.
